Activa DBS was developed by Medtronic in the 1980s and approved for use for ET in the United States in 1997. It has been proven to reduce the severity of tremor associated with ET. Is this a "permanent" procedure?

- Facial and limb muscle weakness or partial paralysis (paresis)
